New patients are always welcome. Scheduling an appointment is easy,. Just call (631) 423-1000, or you can use e-mail to contact the office. Once we receive your e-mail, we will get back to you by phone to set-up your appointment at a convenient time with one of our physicians or estheticians. We do our best to accommodate same day and next day requests, please bear in mind, they are always subject to availability.
Associated Plastic Surgeons offers complimentary consultations to prospective cosmetic surgical patients.
Unfortunately, Associated Plastic Surgeons cannot offer complimentary consultations to those individuals who are seeking a second opinion after having had cosmetic surgery by another physician. For complimentary consultations, we respectfully request that you leave a credit card to secure your appointment. Your credit card will be charged our standard consultation fee only if you fail to keep your appointment or cancel less than 2 days prior to your scheduled appointment.
CANCELLATIONS
Please, if you are unable to keep an appointment, kindly notify the office 2 days in advance. Doing so will enable us to see another patient who may want to see us at that time.
EMERGENCIES
Our office provides on-call service for emergencies, 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year. Do not use e-mail in case of emergency! Call (631) 423-1000 - please be aware, most minor surgical emergencies can be treated in our office during regular hours. When the office is closed, we ask you go to the nearest doctor-affiliated emergency room. Tell the triage nurse you would like one of our doctors called. If you suspect a life-or-death emergency, Call 911 immediately!
TELEPHONE CALLS
If you have questions and your doctor is unavailable, your message will be relayed as soon as possible along with your medical file. Your doctor will return your call with answers to your questions with all possible speed. If your question is non-medical, a qualified staff member will be pleased to get you the answer.
INSURANCE
Associated Plastic Surgeons and Consultants accepts most health insurance plans. Coverage for procedures vary by company. Our office staff is happy to assist you in determining eligibility. Please check with your insurance company if a referral from your primary healthcare physician is necessary. A list of participating insurance companies is available.
FINANCING AND PAYMENT POLICIES
Reconstructive and pediatric surgical procedures, are usually covered by most insurance plans, if not considered cosmetic. Generally, medical insurance plans do not usually cover cosmetic procedures. Our office can assist you with financing for cosmetic procedures. No-interest, short-term payment plans, and long-term, monthly finance plans are available. Contact our office manager, and she will be happy to provide you with the details.
PAYMENT
Payment and co-payment for services are due at the time of your appointment. If you have a participating insurance carrier, Associated Plastic Surgeons will bill your insurance company directly - other than your co-payment, you have no additional financial obligations.
