Our in-office surgical facility has been fully approved by American Association for the Accreditation of Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) for class A/B/C surgical procedures.  AAAASF certification assures that the Operating Rooms at Associated Plastic Surgeons have satisfied the most rigid criteria for the performance of safe surgery.

The office has two operating rooms.  The minor OR is dedicated to small procedures, such as skin care, excision of growths and small reconstructions.  The main operating suite is used for more complex procedures such as most cosmetic and more involved reconstructions.  Both rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art anesthesia equipment, monitoring devices as well as all necessary surgical supplies and equipment to assure your safety and comfort. 

Anesthesia performed in our office is by Board Certified Anesthesiologists who are based within the North Shore University Health Care System. 

In the unlikely event that a problem should arise, Associated Plastic Surgeons maintains contingency plans with all local hospitals.

Recovery Room

Dr.  Elliot Duboys, and Dr.  Lawrence Sirota, are fully credentialed at all hospitals for all procedures performed in our office operating room suite.

Speedy, comfortable recovery  is our top priority.  Most patients go home within 1-2 hours after their surgery has been completed.  We realize that people's past experiences with anesthesia can be  anything but memorable.  At Associated Plastic Surgeons, our patient's experience minimal post-operative nausa and vomiting due the administration start of the art medication that is usually only available in hospitals.
